Event Details

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY.

 

REGISTRATION:

  • Registration must be completed by Friday, January 25, 2013 at 6:00 pm.
  • A $25.00 ticket must be purchased for each attendee.
  • Registration is $25 whether you attend the conference in whole or in part.
  • NO cash or EFTs will be accepted under any circumstances. 
    No refunds will be given after the registration deadline, but substitutions can be made.

Tickets paid by credit card online through EventBrite:

  • Click "Order Now" and follow instructions.
  • Personal credit cards can be used.  Travelers must follow their agency's travel rules and regulations for reimbursement.
  • If LaCarte purchase is declined, an MCC Code will be issued.  You must call your LaCarte contact at the Office of State Purchasing, so they can override the restricted MCC code needed to make the purchase.

 Tickets paid by Check or Inter-Agency Journal Voucher (J4):

  • Click "Show Other Payment Options" under "Order Now"
  • Click "Pay Offline"
  • Complete "Required Fields"
  • Click "Pay By Check"

Complete payment by Check:

  • Check must be made payable to Office of Risk Management.
  • Mail check by January 25, 2013 to Office of Risk Management, P.O. Box 91106, Baton Rouge, LA 70821 OR
  • Bring check AND registration confirmation to conference.
  • Check must be accompanied by registration confirmation.

Complete payment by Inter-Agency Journal Voucher (J4):

  • Email Pete Lafleur (Pete.Lafleur@la.gov) with the following information:
    • agency/fund number
    • organization that you want to charge for the conference
    • object (and sub object if applicable)
    • list of participants
  • Pete will email you the J4 number
  • Approve your agency's line of coding

Due to limited space, all attendees must be pre-registered. Registration will not be allowed the day of the conference.

PRESENTATIONS:

  • Paper copies of presentations WILL NOT be distributed by ORM.
  • If you want copies of presentations, you must print the presentations and bring them with you.
  • Presentations will be uploaded to our website closer to the conference.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS:

  • A small block of sleeping rooms is reserved at Crowne Plaza. 
  • To make reservations, please call (225) 925-2244 and give them room block is under Office of Risk Management.
  • The room rate for the conference is $93 per night. The block will be held until January 16, 2013 at the stated rate.
  • All attendees are responsible for making their own hotel accommodations for the conference, if needed.  You must provide a credit card to hold your room at the time of the reservation.
